We want to send a very special thank you to the Valero Energy Corporation, Legal Department Employees, who were not only instrumental in raising $6,000 we needed for our concrete slab, they also donated $1,025.00 of their own money to help us towards our goals of improving our shelter!! They are a tremendous and generous group of people, and without them, this project would not have been possible! We thank them from the bottoms of our hearts!! County Line Animal Hospital Dr. and Mrs. Brumlow, for their ongoing help and caring in dire situations. Our many generous benefactors: Bernice
Halff, San Antonio TX Roger & Suzanne Bosse, Floresville TX Peach & Bill Buchholtz, San Antonio TX Gay Lynn Griffith, San Antonio TX Very special thanks to Peach & Bill Buchholtz and Pat & Ben Garza for the power washers they donated to our shelter. This wonderful tool has definitely made an improvement in the every day activities of cleaning the shelter. It has also made life much easier on the President giving her more time to spend with the dogs and less time cleaning! Not only does it help to keep the living conditions clean, it also helps to keep the water buckets free from algae and works wonders when it comes time to using bleach or other cleaning supplies. Very special thank you to Thomas Shank for donating a brand new Dell Computer, fully loaded and ready to go with all the software installed!! Thank you to HEB who generously donates dog food to us on a monthly basis!
"Dogs Welcome" A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me.
An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote: "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all
that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures
off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for
being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill.
Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.
