The PEDIGREE Foundation: PEDIGREE believes that every dog deserves a loving home. That's why, in 2008, they established The PEDIGREE Foundation, a private 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing grants to animal shelters and breed rescue through consumer donations and receives contributions from PEDIGREE Brand through the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive, a campaign that inspires people to adopt dogs while raising money for every PEDIGREE branded product sold. Las Lomas K9 Rescue & Adoption Foundation is a recipient of these grants! Thank you PEDIGREE Foundation! PEPSI along with Global Giving who awarded us a grant to rebuild our shelter and provide a much needed roof!
"Dogs Welcome" A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me.
An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote: "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all
that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures
off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for
being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill.
Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.
